Did you miss anything last week?

Monday

Elliptical: 45 minutes

Cycling: 45 minutes

It was also MLK’s birthday!

Tuesday

Running: 8.1 miles

Elliptical: 30 minutes

Cycling: 30 minutes

I also discussed whether or not it is important to buy organic food.

Wednesday

Running: 9.1 miles

Elliptical: 30 minutes (15 minute warm up and 15 minute cool down)

Thursday

Elliptical: 45 minutes

Running: 6 miles barefoot

Biking: 15 minute cool down

Running: 15.11 miles (7:55 pace)

I had another great week!

Totals

Running: 44.41 miles (lower than I would like)

Cycling: 150 minutes

Cross Training: 150 minutes

Let’s look back on how I did with my goals:

  • Do the two swimming workouts that I failed to do last week FAIL
  • Run 15 miles on Sunday CHECK (did it Friday!)
  • Show my dad a good time (he is coming this weekend) CHECK
  • Buy two NEW ingredients at Whole Foods this weekend CHECK

I accomplished everything except for the swimming…

Why is it so hard to get in the pool when the weather is frigid?

The water temperature is over 80 degrees!

My goals for this week:

  • Try two new recipes with my two new ingredients (curious as to what they are?)
  • Of course, do the swimming workouts ;)
  • Run 16 miles on Saturday or Sunday

Goals this week are for me to get exercising! Things have been so crazy for the past few weeks, I’m hoping to squeeze in some P90X workouts and if the weather warms up (from the -2 we’re having right now!) I can get out and run. :-)

I’m glad you have started posting your workouts again. For one thing, it makes me feel like less of a freak when I spend 2 hrs a day working out. Also, it reminds me need to step of my game. :)

My goals for this week are to get ahead on the massive amounts of work I have for this term, run a successful XC race in Reading on Wednesday, and complete my Saturday long run of 12 miles.

Thanks for the post on tofu! Whenever I’ve made it in the past it has turned out to be virtually inedible. I’m eager to try your method!

Getting in the water is the worst part of swimming. I take that back- getting out of the water and into the cold air is the worst!
