Me and Goji Custom Cereal Review and Giveaway

by Matt on January 16, 2011

Over the course of my blog, I have had the wonderful opportunity to sample an array of great products. I’ve tried everything from granola to nut butter to protein powder. A few weeks ago, I partnered with the friendly staff at to review their full line of customized cereals and granola.

With my love for cereal, how could I say no?

CIMG1703

was founded by Adam and Alexander as the first customizable cereal and granola company (very similar to MixMyGranola). It’s customized cereals are packed with nutrient-rich super foods and cater to any specific taste or dietary requirement, using more than 60 natural and organic ingredients.

They even have !

Not only are their cereals loaded with the healthiest and most flavor-bursting super foods from around the world, have a passion towards sustainability of the environment. Each cereal canister is 100% recyclable and the cereal is mixed by hand in individual batches. Also, a large portion of their profits is also donated to various charitable organizations.

When I was offered to create my own custom cereal to review, I spent about an hour creating my own mix. There was just too many great options!

I settled on these…

CIMG1705

Chocolate Granola (oh yes I did), Currants, Almonds, Walnuts, Chia Seeds, Cinnamon, and Cocoa Nibs

It arrived a few weeks later, filled to the top with the mix ins thoroughly mixed throughout the cereal. When it comes to cereal or granola, I hate when the mix ins are not mixed evenly. IT DRIVES ME NUTS.

I had a handful first to taste test and I instantly fell in love. I think this might be the best granola that I have ever tasted. I mean, it did have chocolate…

The cinnamon gave it that extra spice that you do not normally find in cereal and granola. I loved it! The nuts and dried fruit were also in whole pieces, which is another important requirement for me.

And they did not skimp on the good stuff. I think that is what I loved the most ;)

Overall, I really liked the taste and flavor of the cereal. I also felt like their website had many more options than some of the other “build your own cereal” websites out there. Unfortunately, it is a bit more pricey than a regular cereal found in the store and you have to pay for shipping. Health comes with a price, but we all know that it is a price I will pay. If you are interested, please check out their and play around. Give this great company a shot because they truly are one of a kind.

Giveaway

is not sponsoring this giveaway, but I loved their product so much that I will front the bill for one lucky reader to make their own creation. I am going to be out soon, so I’ll be making another order anyways ;)

I have been given the opportunity to review and giveaway so many great products free of charge that I feel the need to give something back.

There are few ways you can enter:

I would add artisanal cereal, cocoa almonds, bananas, cinnamon, and chia seeds (b/c I’ve never tried them and always been very curious!)
