Heading Back

by Matt on December 29, 2010

I do not have a lot of time for a post today because I am traveling (we all know how hellish that can be), but I thought I would sneak in a quick post before I head out.

After a week at home, I am so ready to get back to my daily routine. I love being at home and seeing my family, but I have so much to¬†accomplish¬†next semester that I cannot wait to get started. I am going to work on a “2011 goals” post sometime today or tomorrow (maybe on my flight if I am bored), so stay tuned for that! I tend to set “goals” rather than “resolutions”, so it should be a good post :)

I am also sure that Bama-mom and Bama-dad are ready to have the house back to themselves. I kind of take control when I come over ;)

They are going to Cancun for New Years! I am so jealous! I will be working at 6 AM on New Years day :(

Isn’t that terrible? That should seriously be illegal.

I know they love having me home, but I am sure they are ready to get back to their routine too.

Before flying, I always HAVE to do some kind of workout. Sitting all day and dealing with people just makes me really restless and uptight, but working out really helps to relax me.

Wednesday Workout

Running: 9 miles (7:43 pace)

Just an easy run this morning before my flight. I wanted to have plenty of time to pack, shower, eat breakfast, and catch up on emails before my flight (I also had to do laundry, which I absolutely hate), so I cut things a little bit short. It worked out well because that is all I really felt like doing. I was not in the mood to spin or cross train, so I just skipped it ;)

See you on the other side of the country ;)

Safe travels! Hopefully thinking about all the 2011 has to offer will keep you occupied in transit :)

Travel safe! Great run…I am the same way, I cannot stand sitting for that long without starting the day off with a great sweat! Your parents are adorable. Loved your comment about strength training 2-3 times a year!!!!
