I am going NUTS here at my house. My parents are driving me up the wall! Luckily I just have a few more days of this hell. I know they mean well, but it is really hard to be home this long. I am used to living alone and being independent and it is hard for me to come home and live on other peoples schedules and never have any alone time. Any time I want to be alone, I go upstairs to watch TV, but then my dad instantly follows me up and wants to hang out. It is like that with my mom too. If I am chilling on the couch, she comes in there to start cleaning. I don’t think they get the signals I am giving. THANK GOD I AM LEAVING SATURDAY MORNING.
Does anyone else have this problem when visiting home?

It has been COLD here recently, especially in the morning. It has been below 30 for the past week or so every single morning. Spring! Where art thou? I know this isn’t cold for a lot of you, but just remember that I live in the south. Cold here is a lot different than cold up there. If you think I am a wimp, try running down here in the summer.
Once I woke up, I bundled up and headed out for a run. I didn’t have a goal distance in mind; I just ended up running by feel. Once I got about 5 miles in, I had a route planned, so I just went with it. I wasn’t sure exactly how far it was, but I was feeling great and I knew it wouldn’t be a problem. For some reason, my legs felt really good today, despite yesterdays hill workout. It was really weird. I woke up and just felt awesome. It was almost like I didn’t run yesterday! I guess it was just one of those things…
Tomorrow I have a long run planned 
I AM PUMPED!

i feel you about the get-me-out-of-here stuff. don’t you have an apt that you could go back to? i know that at this point saturday is really close but at least you didn’t have to wait for your school to reopen…
way to get out there in the cold although i don’t buy the “run down here in the summer” thing as i’ve run in plenty of 100+ days here in new england
I stay at home all the time – it can be difficult at times but I guess i’m used to it. However, once university starts back, i’m basically never in. I spend my life at the uni! It’s been freeeeeeezzzzziiiinnnngggg here! -8 degrees some nights!
It’s true what they say… you can’t go home again. I think it’s actually the opposite when I visit my family. I see them so infrequently, I kind of follow my mom and dad around like a puppy. I know they love me, but they probably have a full dose of me by the time I’m gone.
HAHAHA…luckily, i can say my parents are usually pretty cool. however, there is just something about having your own area and doing what you want. you are ALMOST there!
